The Animal Hope and Welfare Foundation
Marc Ching, the founder of this amazing foundation, has dedicated his life to rescuing the innocent lives caught up in the middle of human brutality. The incredible work by this foundation and many others solidified my choice to become a vegetarian, because the unjust that takes place all over the world is unbearable and certainly for me since a very early age, it's  something that I do not agree with. Vegetarian or not, everyone has a heart and to not be able to sympathise and feel a heartbreaking emotion when looking at any form of animal cruelty  is beyond me. The sheer hardwork and effort by the team and the man himself, has 100% convinced me that at some point in my life I wish to do the same, to travel and rescue animals so that peace is restored to their lives. It's more about being able to get to that stage in my life where I can actively make a huge change and present the harsh reality of the world, that this is happening now and it needs to stop.

I actually came across this beautiful page when Maxime followed me, and without even knowing who she was or what she does, I was instantly inspired when I saw the landscapes and the culture. Travelling is something very close to my heart, I hope to do a lot of it in the future when I can afford it and when I feel stable enough to leave responsibilites at home. I feel like Maxime's page is so calming, from abstract sunsets to the cool oceans, it's a page full of hopes and dreams (for me personally  anyways). It just feels like a breath of fresh air and I would jump into the pictures if I could.

Peta (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals)
I have always been taught to 'stand up for the voiceless' and having been raised around: rabbits, chickens, lovebirds and dogs (the list could go on if I went into specifics) I strongly agree with Peta's work, to educate people on the brutality of animal torture. It takes a lot to sit down and watch any of their videos because yes it is graphic, but if you don't open your eyes to the truth and to what is happening right now, you won't be able to help or relate. Peta have great celebrity endorsement to preach about not wearing fur etc, but what matters is if everyone takes a few seconds out to sign petitions and just acknowledge what goes on in our world on a day to day basis. Peta had a big role in the process of me becoming a vegetarian, I personally kept digging deeper and deeper until I was exposed to the reality of the meat-trade. If you sign one petition today i'm sure you won't stop until all of them are done! Animals have precious lives, don't let them lose hope.

Welcome to my inspirations page, where I will be posting anything that has influenced the person I am today, and whatever I discover which will enable me to become the person I’ll be tomorrow.

From different foundations, cultures to institutions and inspirational figures who have contributed to my lifestyle, I felt like this part of the site would be essential in depicting who I really am.
